Nobody sent us this. We paid for it, lived with it, and wrote down what happened.
The first week is always the flattering week. Everything is new, the setup is fresh in your mind, and the small frictions have not accumulated yet. It is the week most reviews get written in, and it is the least useful one.
Filed under Generative AI, which on this site means we care about the boring parts: whether it holds a connection, whether the app is still maintained a year from now, and whether anybody answers the phone when it breaks. The question is never whether a thing works in the shop. It is whether it still works in six months, on your network, alongside your other devices, without you having to think about it.
The full breakdown, including the parts that did not go well, is what the rest of this piece is for.

Jan 14, 2026 18:00Returned mine inside the window. Nothing wrong with it, it just was not worth what they are asking.

Jan 15, 2026 12:00Fair review. I think you were kinder about the remote than it deserved.
