ApproveThis automates approvals with no-login workflows. Three tiers on AppSumo at $59, $149 and $249. Unlimited workflows, unlimited approvers, custom form editor, validated inputs. It looks good.
Then you reach the only number that matters. Approval requests per month: 25 on the first tier, 50 on the second, 150 on the third.
Twenty-five approvals a month is less than one a day, from a product whose entire name is ApproveThis. Everything else on that page says unlimited, and the one limit that describes what the tool is for is set at a level you would hit in a slow week.
That is not a lifetime deal, it is a free trial with a price on it. 25 a month should be the free tier. $59 should buy 250, and the tiers above it should buy 500 and 1,500. At those numbers I would have reviewed it properly.
So I did not. I keep deals I intend to review and I delete the rest, and I kept this one specifically to look at it. As soon as I saw the limits there was nothing left to review.
My verdict: no rating. Not one star, no stars at all. I am not spending a review on a trial.
