AudioHero sells unlimited access to over 300,000 premium music tracks and sound effects. The company was founded in 2015 in Toronto, which is 11 years of trading, and it has 112 reviews on the listing.
The license is the good part, and it is genuinely good. Tracks are licensed in perpetuity, so what you download stays yours even if the company does not. That is the single most important line in any stock media deal and most of them will not say it.
The money works too, on paper. $105 once against $10 to $18 a month for Epidemic Sound pays for itself inside a year. If you publish constantly, that is an easy call.
The problem is the alternative. YouTube's own audio library is free and already Content ID safe, and for most people making a video a week that is enough. This deal only earns its keep if you are publishing constantly and you need something that does not sound like everyone else.
My verdict: 3 stars, pass for me. If you buy it, download early and often, because perpetuity protects what you have already taken, not what is still on their servers.
