inTouch comes from a messaging company in Verona with 20 years in SMS, and it pitches itself as a Mailchimp competitor. The design is a little dated, but that does not change what it does. The AppSumo deal starts at $49.
The email side is a pretty good deal. $49 buys 10,000 emails a month, which inTouch sells for about 23 euros a month on its own site. Keep the math in mind: with 10,000 contacts that is one email each per month, and with 1,000 contacts it is ten.
Texting is the weak part. You get 200 mobile credits once, and a text costs from under two cents in the US to over 50 cents elsewhere. I checked the add-on on the deal page, 2,000 mobile credits for $35, against inTouch's own price list, and it is exactly the same price. It is not a deal, so ignore it.
My biggest hesitation is white label. Removing the inTouch branding only starts at tier 4 for $429, and that is also the tier where you can customize the URL, the login page, the API and the webhooks. The API and webhooks themselves are included on every tier.
My verdict: 4 stars, bought. For a steady email list it is cheap, just budget for SMS top-ups. I will report back on how the branding looks in practice.
