TubeOnAI takes a video, a podcast or a PDF and gives you a summary, then a blog post made out of it. It runs on the usual models, and it comes with hundreds of templates.
Here is the problem. Any AI can already do this. Open the free version of Gemini, paste in a YouTube link, and ask for a summary or a blog post. Google's Gemini Notebook takes 50 sources per notebook and three audio overviews a day, for nothing. The hundreds of templates are not much of an edge either, because most people need one or two of them.
The tier table makes it worse. A UI option is crossed off at tier one, which costs them nothing to include. Webhooks, the API and MCP all wait for the top tier. $59 buys 3,000 credits a month and three channel subscriptions, and bring your own key, the thing that uncaps it, starts at $139.
The reviews are mixed. Plenty of five-star ones, and five of 44 at one star. One reviewer says it no longer works.
The company is from Bangladesh and over three years old, which I count in its favor. Three years ago I would have been all over this, because generating content for websites was exactly what I needed. Today I have AI that does all of it, and I do not need a tool to connect my AI to theirs.
My verdict: 2 stars, pass. Use Gemini Notebook for free.
